Giving Back

The Lawrence Firm, PSC, is dedicated to improving the lives of their clients and the people within the greater Cincinnati community. The Lawrence Firm, PSC, believes that giving back to the community is an important part of what we do. Improving lives and the quality of lives of those individuals and their families in need is at the heart of why we do what we do. The Lawrence Firm, PSC,  and its employees have volunteered and donated to the following charities:

DCCH Center for Children and Families

The Lawrence Firm, PSC, was proud to participate in the 2018 DCCHC Center for Children and Families Annual Christmas project. The DCCH offers residential treatment for children ages 6-15 who have been removed from their homes by the Commonwealth of Kentucky due to extreme physical, sexual and emotional abuse. The DCCHC Center also provides temporary, therapeutic foster case until children are placed in permanent foster homes or adopted. The Lawrence Firm, PSC, and its staff “adopted” all 40 of the Center’s children to fulfill their Christmas wish lists.

Children’s Law Center, Inc.

Children’s Law Center, Inc. (CLC) has been protecting the rights of children and youth since its establishment in 1989. The Lawrence Firm, PSC, partner, Jennifer L. Lawrence, serves as a Board member and participates in annual fundraising efforts for this nonprofit legal service center that provides individual legal advocacy to children and youth. The CLC provides individual legal advocacy to children and youth, and through public policy work, training and education, impact litigation and juvenile defender support services, seeks to improve the systems that serve them. https://Childrenslawky.org

Volunteer Lawyers Project

With the Volunteer Lawyers Project, The Lawrence Firm, PSC, attorneys have provided high-quality legal services to low-income individuals who do not have the resources to pay for legal representation. Since its founding in 1982, the Volunteer Lawyers Project has made a difference in the lives of thousands of individuals in the area. http://vlpcincinnati.org/

Women’s Crisis Center

The Women’s Crisis Center serves individuals who have experienced domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, and offers an array of services at no cost to those they serve. The WCC provides immediate access to effective crisis intervention, support and personal attention, and a safe and nurturing environment to victims and survivors, as well as advocating for the safety, civil rights, and health of their clients through advocacy and education. https://www.wccky.org/

Kenton County Library Foundation

The Kenton County Public Library Foundation was created to ensure that the library will be able to serve the community for years to come. The Library’s Foundation has supported Library initiatives, including preschool outreach, The Read Racer and kindergarten packs. The Lawrence Firm, PSC, is proud to be a supporter of The Library’s Foundation.

St. Vincent DePaul- Northern Kentucky

Each year around Christmas, The Lawrence Firm, PSC, adopts a family-in-need to provide them with holiday cheer that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. By providing clothes, household essentials, food and toys for the children, The Lawrence Firm, PSC, employees take great joy in making Christmas morning special for of our neighbors in need. http://www.svdpnky.org/

Northern Kentucky Montessori Academy

NKMA provides an authentic Montessori academic curriculum of individualized learning that optimizes the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. Emma Quire Mission Center

The Emma Quire Mission Center works to make hope visible in the lives of Appalachian families in Owsley County Kentucky. The Center houses mission teams from around the country that come to make a difference in one of the poorest counties in the country. Emma Quire


Fernside is a national leader in providing grief support services, outreach and education to the community and families. Fernside services compliment Hospice of Cincinnati’s comprehensive bereavement program by addressing the unique needs of children. The Lawrence Firm, PSC, supports Fernside in their mission to help children and teens grieving a death by donating to the Fernside evening support group program. http://www.fernside.org/

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Greater Cincinnati

The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. The mission of Dress for Success Cincinnati is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Dress for success Cincinnati became well-known for providing suits to women returning to or entering the workforce. Dress for Success Cincinnati’s Going Places Network helps unemployed and underemployed Dress for Success Cincinnati clients gain professional skills, accelerate their job search and build confidence through weekly training sessions, one-on-one career coaching and networking, and its career center offers individualized services and resources, including career guidance, access to technology, work skill development and support. Kenzie’s Closet

Kenzie’s Closet provides prom attire for young ladies attending high schools in the area with financial need. Kenzie’s Closet strives to provide an experience for these young ladies to shop in a boutique that is every girl’s dream. InRETURN provides viable employment to individuals who have suffered a neurologic injury, disease or disorder through manufacturing Job and Life Skills Programming. InRETURN also provides resources related to vocational training, employment, community involvement, financial independence, recreation, continued education and independent living.
