Have you or a loved one used Roundup weedkiller?

Roundup, a widely-used weedkiller, has been linked to thousands of cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other cancers. Hundreds of victims of the dangerous product are now suing Roundup's manufacturer, Monsanto. The plaintiffs allege that exposure to the popular herbicide caused them or a loved one to develop cancer, and that Monsanto knew of the risks. If you or a loved one have developed cancer after regularly using Roundup, you may be entitled to compensation.

In 2015, Roundup's main ingredient, glyphosate, was listed as a "probable human carcinogen" on a report from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). The IARC reported that glyphosate caused cancer in lab tests on animals and found that the chemical damaged DNA in human cells. Despite this evidence, Monsanto continues to stand behind its position that glyphosate is safe. In addition to widely selling and promoting this dangerous product, pending lawsuits allege that Monsanto knew about the risks, but covered them up by publishing falsified data in order to convince farmers, consumers, and government agencies that Roundup was safe.

In June, 2018, a 46 year-old groundskeeper became the first person to take Monsanto to trial. After presenting extensive scientific evidence and internal records and communications that Monsanto tried to seal from public view, the jury ruled that Roundup was a substantial contributing factor in causing the plaintiff's cancer. The jury awarded $289.25 million in damages, including $250 million to punish Monsanto. An estimated 8,000 other plaintiffs have made similar claims in state courts.

If you or a loved one was exposed to Roundup and have been diagnosed with cancer, you may be able to receive compensation. Contact our firm today to discuss your potential claim with an experienced attorney by calling 800-698-4054 or sending us an email at [email protected].
