Richard Lawrence, PJ Beirne and Ken Sigelman obtained a 30.9 million dollar verdict on 7/2/09 in Montgomery County, Ohio. The verdict was against Miami Valley Hospital. The Lawrence Firm represented the family of a brain injured 8 year old boy. The jury agreed that the hospital failed to properly attend to a VBAC patient, and as a result her uterus ruptured, causing Hypoxic injury to the boy.
